Chesterton bench and cross

The bench in the grounds of St Michael, with the cross growing out of the hedge behind it! What a lovely idea, whoever thought of it!

Roman Coffin

This Roman coffin was found in excavations in the late 1840's and was brought back to Chesterton church. It has been a feature of the west side of the churchyard since that time.
